There is also Hedden’s Farm shop on the road to Bideford at Woodtown. Open 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. it offers milk and bread plus homegrown meat and veg. Petrol station at Roundswell, Barnstaple and Bideford.

For larger superstores we recommend Barnstaple or Bideford.

  • Is Wi-Fi available?

Free Wi-fi is available  but bear in mind it is a rural location .Most lodges get a good service  BUT it is slowest in Kingfisher, Otters Holt and Hunters Lodge due to the nature of the site. Speeds do vary depending on lodge location and demand, but usually a  basic service should be available.

if you need the most reliable service the lodges Larches, Rosebay and Honeysuckle would be the best options.

  • Will my mobile phone have signal?

Most mobile phone providers provide a service here but it can sometimes be necessary to move around the site a little as some providers have patchy cover.

If you need an emergency contact number please give the business number 01271 858605. We will always do our utmost to get a message to you.

  • Do you allow BBQ's?

Lodges have a brick BBQ close to the lodge.

No disposables BBQ allowed. Portable BBQ’s are allowed but must be placed on either concrete surfaces/hardcore area with safety in mind.

If the weather has been very dry for a long period, we do have to ask for safety reasons that BBQ’s ARE NOT LIT (This rarely happens but it is best to let you know).

  • Where Do I Park?

Each Lodge has space directly outside the lodge for one car. The larger lodges offer 2 spaces. Additional cars can be parked elsewhere on site if required.
